Fear

What is it? And why do we let it control us? We give it control and allow it to make decisions for us. We allow it to decide who we are as people and as Christians. This author is guilty as well, many times holding back and allowing fear to keep me from where I knew God was trying to lead me.

Often we are worried about who will see us, and what people might say. Well let’s put that into perspective. Who might see you living your faith through his grace? The answer is everyone who can. And what my people say? The answer to that is, what won’t they say? Don’t let fear hold you back from God. Don’t let fear dictate who you are. Let the Lord fill you with His Spirit until you are so full it’s pouring out of you, so that no one can help but see it, and no one can help but talk about it. Because it is not you that they see, but the Lord.
